What we do

We have a tried and tested process for developing UX-led solutions that meet our clients' and their users' needs across multi-channel environments.

We can apply our process quickly - in just a few hours we can make recommendations on how to improve usability - or we can help you develop usable solutions from the ground up.

Research

Before we put pen to paper we ask a lot of questions about our clients, their audience and their industry.

We're not navel gazers and we don't carry out research for the sake of it. We ask a lot of questions so that we can be sure we make informed decisions as we progress through our projects and develop coherent UX strategies.

Planning

For us planning is about sifting through the research, identifying the priorities for our clients and their customers and demonstrating how best to meet those priorities.

We typically do this by employing common Information Architecture (IA) techniques and delivering advice, support and documentation that ensure our clients can turn the ideas into reality.

Testing

Our clients are experts in their industries and we are experts in ours but that doesn't mean that we know everything there is to know about their audience and their needs. The best way to learn what users do, think and want is to ask them directly.

Implementation

We can design and build interfaces if required but it is not essential that we do. In fact the majority of our clients employ us to do the strategic thinking, user testing and IA work and stick with their existing digital agencies for the rest.

If our clients do need help, we have excellent web designers and interface developers on hand who know how to create sites that make sense to users; sites that are not ruled by the inflexibility or technical constraints of the chosen back end system.
