In December 2015, we carried out user research to discover if people consider how buildings can have an effect on health and wellbeing and to identify how they might engage with the “Healthy buildings” topic via digital or social channels.

We led two streams of activity:

  • User research – conducting telephone interviews with industry and consumers to determine their level of knowledge and interest in the subject.
  • Peer research – exploring sites, magazines, individuals or organisations relevant and of value to the issues.

We presented our findings to Saint-Gobain, highlighting the current landscape and making recommendations for digital and social solutions.

In May 2016, following this initial research, we created key audience personas to validate the ideas and identified user goals and touchpoints for Saint-Gobain to use to reach these groups.
