Wealth Wizards

Wealth Wizards are Fintech experts, providing online finance planning, pension and retirement planning products. In Aug 2015, they developed and launched the LV= Retirement Wizard advice platform to create an online advice option for LV=’s customers.

After release, as part of their agile development processes and feedback mechanism, we conducted 2 rounds of user research. The first round to benchmark the existing solution, discover any pain-points in the process and identify priority fixes. The second round to re-test a design prototype to ensure the new interface had captured all the users wants and needs and check no new issues had been introduced.

We recruited and interviewed the candidates using remote testing software. We considered the user’s digital skills, their awareness of the topic, the language used on the site and the length of time the candidate took to complete each task. The results were compiled into a report and presented to Wealth Wizards and LV=.
